- Time Travelers Convention: In 2005, some students at East Campus organized the first-ever Time Travelers Convention, which was covered by The Today Show and mentioned on Saturday Night Live.
- Wall Street Journal: The Wall Street Journal made a video about PTZ (2W), one of the halls of East Campus.
